We are fully stocked with t-shirts, and those last minute items that you may have forgotten for your outdoor adventure.  We carry a nice selection of freeze dried foods, as well as snacks, ice cream sandwiches, and cold drinks.  We have picnic tables set up outside for you to to enjoy.

We offer guided naturalist walks on trails near the Floodwood Outpost.  Take time to slow down and take in all that nature has to give.  Dave and Rivka are highly experienced guides.   Let us help you get off the beaten path --Please call for details.

We have a great selection of  nature related books for adults and children, as well as guidebooks and maps.  Of special note is the  Adirondack Rail Trail map, and the Adirondack Paddler's Maps & Guidebook--all created by Dave Cilley.  We can point you to that bird or to that portage trail you are looking for.  Yes, we ship things, too---just call to order!  518.637.2358 cell
